Direct Support Professional (DSP) – IHS with Training (Scott County)

Job Description (Post This):
We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide Individualized Home Supports (IHS) with Training services to clients in Scott County (Prior Lake, Shakopee, and Belle Plaine) .

This role focuses on teaching and supporting individuals to build independence in their daily lives. We are looking for dependable, patient, and motivated staff who are passionate about making a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Provide IHS with Training services in clients’ homes and community
• Support and teach independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, community integration, etc.)
• Follow each client’s Coordinated Service and Support Plan (CSSP)
• Document daily progress notes tied to client goals
• Use EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) to track time and services
• Maintain professional boundaries and ensure client safety at all times

Locations:

• Prior Lake, MN
• Shakopee, MN
• Belle Plaine, MN

Hours:

• Up to 40 hours per week available
• Flexible scheduling based on client needs

Requirements:

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation (required)
• Must pass background study
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
