Forklift OperatorKY Frankfort - Frankfort, KY 40601Position SummaryReturnPro is looking for a team oriented, driven, and energetic Forklift Operator. The Forklift Operator provides support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business.Primary Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsOperate forklift or other hand truckAdhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the companyPerform cycle counts as requiredPick, wrap and stage orders to be shippedInspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipmentTransport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouseMaintain the proper replenishment in the computer, using a handheld device, when the pallet is put back in the rackStack cases and rotate merchandiseRefill benches and fill pallet slotsPull material/products to deliver to production linesMove/Slot finished product from production to designated storage areaPull finished product from storage and load on trailersMaintain accurate records of quantities, pack size and description Unload material/product from trailersIdentify safety hazards in the workplaceConsolidate partial pallets for incoming goodFollows standard work methodsPractices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possibleHelp identify cost/time-saving measures to increase production on the lineQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent degreeMust be 18+ years oldValid Forklift license/certification2+ years of experience as a lift-truck operator in a manufacturing environment (preferred)Experience with RF warehouse management systems (preferred)Operational knowledge in a WMS/Tasking environmentTechnical CapacityFrequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and armsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareStrong time management and project management skillsDemonstrated initiativeAbility to think creatively and problem-solve when faced with new challengesAbility to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient mannerAbility to manage competing prioritiesAbility to succeed in a team environmentPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsFrequently required to walk, bend, lift, and reach overhead.Ability to repetitively lift, push, and carry 20–35 lbs.Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based production environment.
