I'm partnering with a leading energy company that's expanding its quantitative analytics team and is looking for a Senior Associate focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Modeling & Structuring.

This is an opportunity to build and enhance advanced quantitative models that support:

• Battery storage dispatch optimization
• Power market forecasting (DA, RT, Ancillary Services)
• Structured products pricing
• Gas generation optimization
• Renewable energy analytics
• Trading, origination, and asset management decisions

What they're looking for:

• 3+ years of quantitative modeling experience
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with optimization tools (Gurobi, CPLEX, PuLP, etc.)
• Machine learning/deep learning experience (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras)
• Knowledge of stochastic modeling and forecasting
• Understanding of wholesale power markets (ERCOT, CAISO, or other ISOs)
• Experience xhyhwjd with BESS, renewables, or conventional generation is highly preferred

Preferred:

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field
