As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use computer or tablet tools to document access-related activity, communicate professionally, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.72 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing temporary badges, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures. Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, coordinate access for deliveries and shipments, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
