Emergency Room Nurses (RN) are responsible to treat a variety of injuries and illness brought into the Emergency Room. They specialize in rapid assessment and treatment when every second counts, particularly during the initial phase of acute illness. An Emergency Room Nurse must take measures to stabilize a patient's condition by administering medication, intubation, drawing blood and/or starting IV's.

Cancellation Policy: Call Off Policy Grady does not have any documented call off policy for travelers but there are some hours owed occasionally when there is inclement weather. Please email HWL Billing if you have any questions in the event of cancelled shifts due to weather conditions

Guaranteed Hours: Guaranteed hours are added to the facility time file prior to being sent to HWL.

Cancellation Fees: If your provider cancels less than 14 days prior to starting, a fee of 12 hours x the bill rate will be assessed. If your provider terminates without 30 days' notice, a fee of 36 hours x the bill rate will be assessed.
