Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department with 12 beds and 2 trauma rooms
• Perform triage in a dedicated triage area; travelers are preferred to be triage-trained
• Manage a variable patient population averaging approximately 40 visits per day with seasonal fluctuation
• Administer and monitor IV drips and support respiratory therapy functions as needed alongside RT staff
• Collaborate with ED physicians (24/7 in-house) and mid-level providers during peak hours, as well as patient care techs
• Adhere to every-other-weekend and rotating holiday scheduling requirements; no floating or call requirements for ER travelers at this time

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Emergency Room and/or urgent care nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• NRP certification preferred
• ENPC certification is a nicety
• Experience with triage in a dedicated triage setting
