Industrial HVAC Technician

Job Description Job Description Clayton Services is searching for an Industrial HVAC Technician to support operations across plant and refinery facilities across La Porte, Channelview, and East Houston plant locations. The Industrial HVAC Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing large-scale chiller systems and related industrial equipment. *NO RESIDENTIAL WORK - PLANT ENVIRONMENTS ONLY* Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $30.00 - $45.00/hour + OT Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, short & long term disability, 401(k), PTO, annual bonus, and more Industrial HVAC Technician Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial chiller systems Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and uptime Diagnose issues across mechanical and electrical components Service pumps, motors, VFDs, control systems, valves, and heat exchangers Work with refrigeration systems including proper refrigerant handling and controls Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and system documentation Ensure compliance with all safety standards in plant environments Support operations across multiple industrial and refinery job sites Assist with system startups, shutdowns, and upgrades Industrial HVAC Technician Skills and Abilities: Strong experience working on chillers and industrial HVAC systems Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems Experience with VFDs, motors, and industrial controls Familiarity with plant or refinery environments Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work in high-demand, fast-paced environments Industrial HVAC Technician Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or HVAC certification preferred 2+ years of industrial or heavy commercial HVAC experience required Chiller experience is required Industrial HVAC Technician - Immediate need.
