Schedule:

12-hour shifts, weekdays; must be flexible with Mondays and Fridays. Ongoing need. Note: 30-minute lunch deducted from time worked per day.

Job Setting:

Inpatient - Large Level 1 Trauma Center; High Acuity Endo Center inclusive of bronchoscopy and TEE

Coverage Type:

Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call (Beeper call; 30-minute call response time required)

General Anesthesia (Adult - Preferred; Pediatric - Required; Neonatal - Required; Trauma - Required) Neurosurgical Cases - Required (Head - Required; Spine - Required) Complex Orthopedic Cases - Required Ventilation Management - Required Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues - Required Arterial Line Placement - Required

Spinal Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Surgery Obstetrical Cases Open Heart Anesthesia Thoracic Cases (except open heart) Complex Vascular Cases (except open heart) Pain Management Techniques Post-op Epidural Post-op Extremity Blocks Epidural Steroid - Lumbar & Cervical Transforaminal - Lumbar & Cervical Use of X-ray Guidance in Performance of Blocks Central Line Placement PA Catheter Placement CRNA Supervision

Surgery Types Expected at Facility:

Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head & Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, Thoracic

Minimum Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible:

Board Certified (Certified CRNA) Required

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, PALS required

Licensure:

Must be licensed in North Carolina only; IMLC not accepted

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:

60-90 days; temporary privileges not available

Required
