Vice President of Security

To lead security initiatives in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will manage AI security, security engineering, and operations security while representing security interests to the executive team and enterprise customers. Key responsibilities Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity management Oversee security engineering teams, driving secure design practices and enhancing detection engineering across the organization Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews, while ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards Required qualifications 12+ years of experience in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during periods of hypergrowth Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity management and modern AppSec tooling Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up, with a focus on AI security challenges Experience in managing corporate IT functions as part of the overall security strategy Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
