Our collaborative culture and our innovative, sustainable approach to projects help us create buildings that matter to our world.Together, we are enhancing the quality of life globally through design.Join us and design your place with Stantec.Your opportunityWe're looking for an Engineering Design Manager to work on various size projects.Your Key ResponsibilitiesForecast and organize project design development and production delivery;Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client;Address project following protocol and procedure in order to reach the best solution;Work with client/owner contractor relationships, budget, code and jurisdictional requirements;Offer onsite assistance in constructions observation;Network to build relationships with new clients and return clients.Your Capabilities and CredentialsThe ability to work on all project sizes including large projects valued at $30MM plusStrong architecture and detailing skillsExpert in constructions administrative processesDetail oriented and organized with proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective in coordinating with contractors, architectural teams and consultantsAbility to successfully lead/organize a team of multiple disciplines and consultantsA proven track record with public speaking and networkingExcellent writing skillsAnalytical thinker with strong problem solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with familiarity of AutoCAD and RevitCurrently has or eligible for federal security clearanceAvailable for occasional travel within the USEducation and ExperienceMust have a degree in engineering, architecture or a related field from an accredited university.Licensed Architect10+ years of experience in Science and Technology projects including data center, mission critical and semiconductorTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
