- Medical Claims ProcessorApply**Job#: 3055942****Job Description:**Apex Systems is hiring a Medical Claims Processor for a large Healthcare client.**Location:** Bakersfield, California (On-site)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Medical Claims Processor for a contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and adjudicating medical claims and bills for payment or denial. This role involves researching claims for appropriate documentation, analyzing data against benefits criteria for payment, and responding to inquiries from vendors and members.Key Responsibilities* Receive and adjudicate medical claims and bills for payment or denial.* Research claims and bills to ensure appropriate support documents and documentation are present.* Analyze and adjust data and benefits criteria to facilitate payment.* Respond to and research problems, questions, and complaints from vendors and members.Required Qualifications**Education:** A High School diploma or equivalent is required.**Experience:** 2-3 years of related experience in medical claims processing.**Technical Skills:** Proficiency with Word is required.Work EnvironmentThis is an on-site position. The dress code is business casual or scrubs.
