Job Summary Citibank, N.A. is hiring a Business Analytics Senior Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location. Responsibilities Create Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) technical strategy, architecture, application design, and tools usability for stakeholders across 1st and 2nd line. Develop and articulate analytical framework to solve business challenges within WCR area, including Derivatives, Securities, and Lending products. Identify areas for simplification, automation, and technology synergies to reduce operational costs and risks. Extract actionable insights based on advanced analysis of credit risk metrics such as Pre-Settlement Exposure, Net Stress Exposure, and Sensitivities and multiple data sets. Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools and methods to transform the organization’s analytical capability. Understand regulatory implications and develop mitigation or opportunity strategies. Ensure robust quantity control in analytical processes for Derivatives and Securities exposure calculation and data. Automate, simplify, and consolidate global processes performed across geographical locations. Leverage specialized knowledge with Citi’s data analysis tools, design, implement, and test processes. Use Citi’s internal Data Quality monitoring and remediation end-to-end processes and procedures. Coordinate Citi’s technology book of work for the function. Maintain a telecommuting/hybrid work schedule as permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Requirements Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Risk Analyst, Business Analytics Group Manager, Risk Operations Analyst, Risk Control Analyst, Market Risk Reporting intern or related position involving coordination, design, conduct of project management, and implementation of key automation efforts. Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 10 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience, with 8 years in risk management in banking industry, Agile project management (SCRUM, JIRA), ensuring robustness of systems, influencing stakeholders, financial products (Derivatives, Securities, Lending), analytical/technical/statistical skills, and ability to synthesize concepts into user-friendly language. Minimum 2 years of experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools, Python code) to analyze credit risk datasets and identify data patterns and anomalies. Strong communication, analytical, and technical skills to translate large volumes of data for senior management. Location & Compensation Primary Location: Tampa, Florida, United States.
