Part-Time Field Service Technician – ATMs & Digital Signage

New England ATM / Digisignz
West Springfield, Massachusetts
$19–$22 per hour, plus performance bonuses
Approximately 20–25 hours per week

New England ATM and Digisignz are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Part-Time Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot ATMs and digital-signage equipment throughout New England.

This is a hands-on field position for someone who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems, driving to customer locations, and interacting professionally with business owners and managers.

Saturday availability is required. Occasional Sunday availability is also required. Weekday hours and routes will vary depending on service needs and scheduled installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot ATMs
• Install digital-signage screens, ATM toppers, media players, mounts, and related equipment
• Diagnose basic hardware, software, internet, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and cellular-connectivity issues
• Perform scheduled service routes throughout New England
• Test equipment and confirm that ATMs and digital signs are operating correctly
• Communicate professionally with store owners, managers, and other location personnel
• Document completed work, equipment information, and service results
• Maintain tools, parts, and equipment in an organized manner
• Follow company installation, security, and safety procedures
• Complete other field-service assignments as needed
• Android OS skills a plus

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a strong background check
• Basic computer skills
• General understanding of computer networking, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and internet-connected devices
• Basic mechanical skills and confidence using common hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in convenience stores, bars, restaurants, retail stores, and similar businesses
• Available to work Saturdays and occasional Sundays
• Willing and able to travel throughout New England

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous field-service, ATM, kiosk, vending, low-voltage, security-system, computer-repair, or equipment-installation experience
• Experience working with Android devices
• Familiarity with routers, cellular modems, media players, and digital-signage systems
• Experience securely mounting electronic equipment and concealing or organizing cables

ATM or digital-signage experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has strong mechanical ability, basic networking knowledge, a professional attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Schedule and Travel

• Approximately 20–25 hours per week
• Part-time position
• Some Saturdays are required
• Occasional Sundays are required
• Weekday hours may vary
• Travel throughout New England
• A company vehicle may be provided for certain assignments; use of a personal vehicle may be required for others

Compensation

• $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience
• Opportunities to earn additional performance-based bonuses
