Job Title : Mechanical Engineer Overview : Join a forward-thinking leader in the green energy sector as a Mechanical Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in designing and drafting large power plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD design, compliance with industry standards, and excellent communication skills, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in a dynamic environment. Required Skills : Extensive experience with AutoCAD and 3D software such as Inventor or MicroStation Knowledge of applicable codes and standards including OSHA, AISC, and ASME (Section VIII, B31.1, B31.3) Familiarity with structural steel welding and pressure vessel design Ability to apply advanced geometry and complex design concepts Strong verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills Self-motivated, analytical, quick learner, and problem solver Capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Team-oriented with adaptability to work in both metric and imperial measurement systems Nice to Have Skills : Experience in designing ducting, piping, and vessel layout drawings Familiarity with fabrication and erection drawings review Ability to evaluate constructability and propose process improvements Experience working with vendors and supporting site inspections Preferred Education and Experience : Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting or a related field Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on design and drafting experience in structural steel, vessels, ducting, and piping within power, industrial, or petrochemical industries Other Requirements : Ability to travel approximately 10% for site visits and vendor inspections Prior experience collaborating with project managers, fabrication shops, and third parties If you are driven to make an impact in a pioneering industry and meet the above qualifications, we encourage you to apply and join a team dedicated to innovative solutions and professional growth.
