If you possess strong phlebotomy skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality patient service, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health.ResponsibilitiesDraw blood samples from patients accurately and safely in diverse settings, including doctor's offices and patient service centers.Follow established procedures to prepare specimens for laboratory testing.Verify patient demographic information and correctly label specimens in the presence of the patient.Maintain detailed and accurate records of specimen collection and patient information.Create a trusting environment by explaining procedures clearly to patients and demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality.Perform specimen processing and handling duties as instructed by supervision.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment complying with all safety and policy standards.Assist with multiple priorities in high-volume settings, adjusting schedule as needed, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.Required SkillsStrong phlebotomy skills with experience in adult, pediatric, and geriatric collections.Excellent customer service and communication skills to build rapport with patients and team members.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Accurate keyboard/data entry skills.Basic knowledge of specimen processing and lab procedures.Detail-oriented with a focus on confidentiality, accuracy, and process adherence.Additional Skills & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Previous experience working in a Patient Service Center environment is highly preferred.Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and a clean driving record are required.Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours.An ability to list home city and travel time within 20-25 minutes to the worksite on your resume.Prepare to provide exceptional patient care while supporting a team committed to process excellence and confidentiality.
