Assistant Property Manager

Seabreeze I is seeking a dynamic self-starting and motivated Assistant Manager. The owner-owned condominium hotel has __28_ condos and is very popular and busy, with an ideal location in the heart of South Padre Island, Texas. Candidate will be able to multi-task effectively and efficiently as to cover all aspects of the property’s daily operations, including: Maintaining and improving our already high level of guest reviews through exceptional customer service skills. Monitoring inventory levels internally and on extranets including promotions and general condos pricing to meet and exceed sales goals. Financial skills including budgeting and planning in order to meet operational expense goals. Excellent leadership and supervisory skills are essential and critical for payroll budgeting and general operations. Positively motivating and training a team of employees who are happy with their jobs and strive for the highest guest service and approvals. Other key duties include but not limited to: Ensure guest rooms are spotlessly clean and the general property is well maintained Responsible for accurate payroll submittal Responsible for resolving guest issues and answering online reviews and real time feedback. Provide excellent guest/ customer service Check in guests in and out Answer and assist all calls Manage Reservations and inventory from incoming calls or online Ensure all front desk tasks are completed properly Organize and ensure front desk is clean Ensure all files, reservations are up to date and organized Ensure the front desk staff appearance and attitude is professional Assist owner with letters and tasks Ensure housekeeping is performing their job description Able to manage customer issues with acceptable resolve Able to manage staff's issue with acceptable results Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent computer and typing skills Experience with reservation systems both phone in and online Able to work weekends & holidays and whenever necessary Able to handle stressful days and take direction from owner respectfully Qualifications Minimum Experience, Education, Skill Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent is required Experience in a hospitality leadership role Must possess a valid I.D. Must be available to work weekends & holidays, and share with other managers the off-hours emergency on-call function. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) and hotel/reservation software. Work with online booking platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, and Expedia Must have strong analytical skills and decision-making ability Must be able to work independently while communicating with and taking direction from hotel management team. Must create positive interaction with hotel guests using effective oral and written communication skills and efficient reservation/check-in procedures Must be well-groomed with professional appearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
