Gift Shop Associate - Part Time - Rotational - West Penn Hospital

Job Title

Provides and promotes a variety of goods and outstanding customer service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Restocks shelves. Operates a cash register and other equipment, which may include helium tank.
• Greets and engages customers and responds to inquiries to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Receives deliveries, prices items, performs inventory, and ensures appropriate, neat and accurate stock levels.
• Reconciles money, computes transactions and replenishes cash.
• Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods and required chemicals. Complies with all safety and infection control guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

Minimum

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred

• 1-3 years retail experience
