- 2+ years of hands-on experience in forklift or heavy equipment maintenance
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong troubleshooting chops and a get-it-done attitude
- Comfortable lifting heavy equipment and working in various positions
- Clear communicator with a safety-first mindset
- Basic computer skills for tracking work and logging repairs
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair forklifts and other material handling gear
- Handle routine maintenance and perform thorough safety checks
- Tackle mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues like a pro
- Keep accurate service records and log all maintenance activity
- Respond quickly to urgent service calls to minimize downtime
- Work directly with customers and team members to keep operations smooth
