Registered Nurse (RN) | Intermittent Visits - Weekends

Pay Visit Pay: $50 - $55 per visit. Visits range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. About the Role Registered Nurse (RN) to work one‑on‑one with patients in Denver who require intermittent home‑care visits. Typical care includes catheter care, wound care, diabetic management, and medication management. Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required. Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from prescriber as patient status and needs change. Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals. Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring and documenting effectiveness of intervention. Review plan of care and program protocols to identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning needs, as applicable. Support professional practice by observing the following: Nurse Practice Act; Standards of Nursing Practice; Standards of Patient Care; Standards of Accrediting Body (ACHC, Joint Commission, etc.); State and Local Laws; Patient Bill of Rights; Maxim Healthcare, Nursing, and Client’s Policies; and adhere to Maxim policy and procedure and applicable protocols. Attend case conferences, team meetings, and education in‑services as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of Colorado. Current PPD or Chest X‑Ray. Current BLS certification. One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred, but not required.
