Position Registered Respiratory Therapist at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, located in Sullivan, MO. Shift Details 3–12 hour shifts per week 6:30 pm – 7 am Rotating holidays; every 3rd weekend rotation Sign‑on bonus: $10,000* Eligibility Students 6 months from graduating from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program are welcome to apply. Overview Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to quality health care for residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties. It offers emergency, maternity, critical care, surgical, cardiac rehab, and cancer services, and operates rural health clinics. Role Purpose Provides direct patient care in respiratory therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Applies advanced clinical expertise and serves as a resource to the patient care team while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Communicate effectively via documentation, handoff, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Educate patients, families, students, new employees, and team members on respiratory therapies and procedures. Seek continuous learning, feedback, and prioritize multiple tasks with effective time management. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to established standards and policies. Support ECMO, ventilator management, bronchoscopies, sleep lab, labor & delivery, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and Basic Life Support as needed. Minimum Requirements Associate degree or COARC–accredited program in Respiratory Therapy Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification Respiratory Care Practitioner, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credit preferred No prior experience required.
