Responsibilities

The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing forecasts and the demand planning activities at multiple levels of hierarchy within their assigned area. This role will support the demand planning responsibilities for the S&OP process. Additionally, the Demand Planner will play a critical role in managing the overall relationships between the KeHE supply chain organization, DC Operations, and the independent and regional account teams to facilitate seamless integration between customer and KeHE order management processes & systems. Qualifications

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Prior experience in food industry and/or code sensitive product environment preferred.
• Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills.
• Capable of influencing & educating organization on supply chain and forecasting success factors
• Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance to KPI’s.
• Intermediate to advanced excel capabilities, including V-lookups, Pivot tables, etc.
• Willingness to collaborate and continuous improvement mindset
• Adaptability/change management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of forecasting/planning experience in a high SKU, slow movement environment
• Utilizing advanced planning systems such as BlueYonder, SAP/APO, Logility, Oracle Demantra, Manhattan DFIO, etc.
• Solid understanding of applicable statistical concepts needed to appropriately “tune” forecasts.
• Outstanding analytical skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing and accurately interpreting large amounts of data.
