Anesthesiology Physician

OnCall Solutions is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist for upcoming locum coverage at a Level I trauma acute care hospital with both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings located in Arizona.

Coverage Dates:
• 6/17 7a-7p
• 7/22 7a-7p
• 7/29 7a-7p
• 8/20 7a-7p

Assignment Details:
• Scheduled 12-hour day shifts only no call
• Support staff includes CRNAs
• Average patient volume: /day
• Cases include ortho, ortho trauma, general surgery, general trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory, and endoscopy
• One provider is assigned to OB daily (not a locum responsibility)
• 11 ORs in the main hospital and 2 ORs in the ambulatory surgery center
• Locums do not medically direct CRNAs
• EMR: Cerner and SaAnesthesia
• Overtime paid after scheduled shift
• Holiday coverage compensated at holiday rate

Requirements:
• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Active Arizona license required IMLC accepted
• ACLS, PALS, and DEA required
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Cerner experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days

Credentialing & Onboarding:
• Completed credentialing applications due within 7 days of receipt
• Case logs and vaccination records required
• Mandatory remote Cerner training ( 4 hours) the week prior to start
• Some departments may conduct phone interviews prior to offer

Travel Details:
• Economy airfare covered per policy
• Lodging, rental car, mileage, parking, and standard baggage fees reimbursed per guidelines

Additional Notes:
• Providers should respond promptly to interview and credentialing requests
• Medical records completion is required in a timely manner throughout assignment
