This is a part‑time position located in Bangor, ME. Work Performed Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes Empty trash containers regularly Ensure all areas of the kitchen, food prep, and food storage areas are clean and properly sanitized, including washing dishes, cooking equipment, cleaning floors, sanitizing countertops and cutting boards, and maintaining all areas to health code standards Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned Requirements Ability to prioritize work when needed to accommodate busy periods No prior experience needed We will pay for ServSafe certification Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location Hours required: Part Time 18 hours per week, evening shifts; weekends/holidays Knowledge of kitchen and restaurant safety and emergency procedures Ability to work well with others (interacts appropriately with guests and staff) Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks safely and efficiently, and communicate effectively Ability to follow safety policies and procedures and immediately report injuries to their manager or manager on duty Compensation $16.50 hourly plus gratuity.
