Azure Data Engineer
Client Industry: Retail
Location: Remote
Duration: Long term contract with extensions
Description: Write Terraform that creates and implements functionality for them. Ensure overall health and performance of these varied databases. Monitor performance, reliability, availability, scalability, and recoverability. Confer with appropriate managers regarding problems with and capabilities of Client/Server databases. Building database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end application. Designing and implementing databases in accordance to application needs. Defining and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format.
Requirements
8+ years of experience as Azure Data Engineer
CosmosDB MySQL Cassandra PostgreSQL Terraform knowledge
Fine tuning Databases on Azure for optimal performance
Be able to provide guidance to the Application teams on optimal data design and implement the same across teams
Nice to Have Skills
Blob Storage Datastacks Yugabyte
