We know how to identify and implement innovative solutions for our client's toughest challenges. Position summary Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Regional Manager. The Regional Manager is a senior leadership role directly responsible for the profitability, operations, and reputation of the region. This position oversees overall project direction and operations development—including strategic budgeting, resource allocation, and performance outcomes with a specific focus on infrastructure maintenance, crew and manager training, and leading quality assurance initiatives for highway infrastructure maintenance and incident management. The position will be an adaptive, analytical leader who thrives in a rapidly changing environment, comfortably transitioning between the office, field crews, and professional client meetings while managing multi-disciplinary staff through hiring, retention, and performance programs. Tasked with ensuring all deliverables are met on time, on budget, and to client expectations, this role requires meticulous organizational skills to balance roadway repair analysis, project report submissions, and vital communications with government clients and subcontractors, while adhering to all regulatory standards. Responsibilities Manage regional/project direction and operations development. Motivate and develop a team of skilled and semi-skilled technicians and managers. Track maintenance contract performance relative to plan, contract, and company targets. Coordinate financial planning and budget projections. Work with Project Managers to develop short-term and long-term maintenance plans. Perform analysis to improve field prosecution, crew efficiency, and maximize operational safety. Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for presentation to Client and Corporate operations centers. Required Experience/Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) Highly efficient organizational skills in a multi-faceted long-term project environment Proven success mentoring, training, developing, and motivating a team. Bachelor’s Degree: engineering, construction project management, or related. Minimum ten (10) years’ experience of roadway maintenance, project management, team leadership, and direct client facing responsibilities. Familiarity with DOT contract operations. Technical experience with road construction or bridge maintenance. Ability to analyze field accomplishment data and prepare reports, statements, and projections. Working knowledge of short- and long-term contract budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and revenue analysis. Highly efficient organizational skills in a multi-faceted long-term project environment. Ability to rapidly develop a competent understanding of technical roadway maintenance specifications. Ability to lead, direct, and manage field maintenance crews and office staff. Proven success mentoring, training, developing, and motivating a team. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. Effective communicator at all professional levels. Ability to manage project field emergencies 24/7. Preferred Experience Professional Engineer license Engineering field operations professional experience Military/Veteran leadership experience Position Location Based in South FL Seniority Level Mid-Level to Senior Manager Work Environment Divisional Project Sites (60%): Multiple sites through region and U.S. Project Field (25%): Outside environment around highway/facility infrastructure Construction/Maintenance Offices (10%): Project office compatible with industry standard for construction field offices Client Office (5%): Government-style professional offices within near proximity to project office.
