Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Inpatient Position Location Nashville, TN Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Full Time (rotating on call weekends) | Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide specialized therapy services to pediatric patients in an inpatient setting. This role focuses on supporting children with complex medical needs and facilitating their communication and feeding/swallowing capabilities. Responsibilities Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide therapy for pediatric patients. Support children with complex medical needs including dysphagia, tracheostomy, and traumatic brain injury. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and nursing staff. Perform feeding/swallowing assessments and video-fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS). Document patient progress and outcomes using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Assist in discharge planning and educate families and caregivers on therapy plans and progress. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Tennessee SLP License (or eligibility). ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing required. Experience in a children’s hospital setting is mandatory. Why ARMStaffing?
