Clinical Laboratory Technologist

A global diagnostics company seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for its Troy, Michigan facility. The role involves performing routine and complex laboratory testing, operating and maintaining instrumentation, and ensuring accurate specimen processing and result reporting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex laboratory procedures
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
• Conduct quality control, preventive maintenance, and document procedures
• Prepare and evaluate new reagents or controls for testing
• Report accurate and timely test results and identify supply needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
• One year or more clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
