What We're Looking For:

• Active RN license, valid in Washington State
• Previous nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment and triage skills for a wide range of student needs
• Ability to develop and implement care plans, including medication administration and emergency response
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with diverse populations
• Proficiency in electronic health records and maintaining meticulous documentation
• Adaptability and a collaborative mindset to work within a fast-paced education environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and addressing students’ immediate health concerns during the school day
• Managing care for students with chronic conditions, allergies, and acute illnesses or injuries
• Providing health education and guidance to students, families, and staff
• Administering prescribed medications and treatments per doctor’s orders
• Maintaining up-to-date health records, immunization data, and required reporting
• Supporting school health initiatives and facilitating communication with parents and care providers
