Join Our Team as a Registered Dietitian
Make a difference in the lives of our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary care team at our skilled nursing and long-term care facility. In this role, you'll play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through nutrition planning, assessment, and education.
What You'll Do:
- Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents
- Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and adjust plans as needed
- Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide in-service education and training to dietary staff on best practices
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Participate in care plan meetings and quality improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) license in Illinois
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of MDS and regulatory requirements (CMS, DOH, etc.)
- Passion for improving the health and well-being of elderly residents
