Fuze HR is partnering with a family-owned aerospace manufacturing company seeking an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join their team.

This role is responsible for in-process and final inspections, CMM programming and operation, first article inspections, calibration activities, and quality documentation for aerospace components.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
• Conduct first article inspections for machined, sheet metal, and assembled parts
• Program and operate CMM equipment using CMM Manager Software
• Set up and run CMM inspection programs for production parts
• Create and review inspection sheets, bubble drawings, and technical data packages (TDPs)
• Review blueprints, engineering drawings, models, and work orders for accuracy and compliance
• Inspect supplied products to verify conformance to customer and design requirements
• Document non-conformances and support corrective actions
• Perform in-house calibration of measuring equipment and maintain calibration logs
• Issue serial numbers and maintain serialization records
• Verify CNC programming models and derivative drawings
• Run scheduled CMM calibrations

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of aerospace quality inspection experience
• 3+ years of CMM programming and operating experience using CMM Manager Software
• Strong understanding of:
  • AS9100 / AS9102 / ISO9001 / ITAR standards
  • GD&T and aerospace blueprint reading
  • First article inspection processes
  • Precision measuring tools and metrology equipment
• Experience creating bubble drawings and inspection documentation
• Proficiency with:
  • CMM Manager Software
  • Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Pro
  • Discus
  • Enovia
• ERP experience with Infor Visual is a plus

Required Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints and engineering documents
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and time management

Education:

• High School Diploma required
• Additional technical or industry training preferred

Work Environment:

• Combination of machine shop and office environment
• Requires standing, sitting, and bending for extended periods

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm

Pay rate: $27-40/hr depending on experience
