Automotive BDC Representative

Alamo Ford in Alamogordo, NM is looking for an experienced Automotive BDC Representative to manage inbound and outbound customer communications for both sales and service. This is not an entry-level role; the right candidate brings prior BDC or call center experience, strong CRM skills, and a track record of turning leads into appointments. If you know how to work a pipeline, communicate professionally at volume, and keep leads from going cold, this is a strong fit. What We Offer Health and Dental insurance 401(k) Plan Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career development support Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service What You'll Do Respond to internet leads, inbound calls, and live chat inquiries promptly and professionally Place outbound calls to follow up on unsold leads, missed appointments, and prior customer interest Manage customer data, track communications, and schedule appointments using CRM software Apply established scripts, email templates, and outreach best practices to deliver consistent, professional communication Nurture leads who aren't ready to purchase through regular, well-timed follow-up outreach Coordinate with sales, service, and management teams to ensure smooth lead handoffs and quality outcomes Stay current on dealership inventory, offerings, and promotions to support informed customer conversations What We're Looking For Previous BDC or call center experience required; automotive BDC experience strongly preferred Strong CRM proficiency and ability to work within dealership management systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail Ability to handle high call volume and manage multiple active leads at the same time Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets High school diploma or equivalent required Alamo Ford is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
