We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/MIG Welder to join our production team in Mooresville, IN. The ideal candidate will have strong plate and tube welding experience and work effectively within a small team environment. This role demands attention to detail, a positive attitude, and dependability to help meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding to fabricate and assemble metal products according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications in a production environment
• Apply principles of assembling, welding, and fabricating
• Read and interpret paper blueprints and dimensional drawings
• Operate welding and general shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure product integrity
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following all safety protocols
• Collaborate within a small team (2-5 members) to meet production deadlines
• Assist in developing and improving welding techniques and processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding or equipment issues
• Perform other related tasks to support operations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, good work ethic, and dependability
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Fabrication apprenticeship or equivalent training at a trade, technical school, or military training
