What You’ll Do

• Meet, assess, and diagnose patients in the health center.
• Prescribe medications, create health regimens, and advise on lifestyle adjustments to aid recovery and prevent future health issues.
• Maintain a manageable caseload (approximately 12-17 patients per day) with no double bookings to ensure patient-focused care.

Schedule

Mon 8am - 5pm, Tue & Wed 8am - 3pm, Thu 10am - 7pm, Friday and Saturday rotation 9am - 1pm (2nd and 4th) Saturday 9am - 1pm (1st and 3rd).

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to patients.
• Provide health services such as initial worker’s compensation evaluation, occupational and pre-employment physicals and screenings.
• Conduct histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe and dispense medications, educate, and advise on medical issues as needed.
• Promote wellness educational programs.
• Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible.
• Current and unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Dispensing license (Florida) or willingness to obtain one.
• DEA license.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in primary or urgent care setting.
• Perform GYN care and well-woman exams.
