Job Title: Mechanical Tool Designer
Location: Lewis Center, Ohio
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary

Seeking a Mechanical Tool Designer with strong experience in industrial/manufacturing automation, machine design, tooling, and material handling systems.

Required Skills

• SolidWorks & AutoCAD
• Automation machine and high-speed line design
• Conveyors, material handling, SPM, and transfer mechanisms
• Jigs, fixtures, tooling, and pick-and-place systems
• Bowl feeder and sensor selection
• Pneumatic, servo, and robotic systems
• Standard component selection such as LM Guides, servo motors, bearings, etc.
• Engineering calculations and mechanical component sizing
• Electrical device knowledge including switches, load cells, and LVDTs
• BOMs, detailed drawings, and manufacturing documentation
• OSHA, CE, and ISO standards
• Experience coordinating with onsite/offshore teams, vendors, fabricators, and programmers
• Ability to lead and coordinate mechanical design activities
