Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview Location: Kindred Hospital Albuquerque Pay Rate: $18/hour (Hourly) Work Shifts: Day, Evening, Night (Full-time and part-time positions available) Responsibilities Oversee team members and assign cleaning duties to ensure coverage of all areas. Perform daily inspections and maintain quality control programs. Manage supplies and ensure team members have necessary equipment. Assist with payroll and administrative duties as assigned. Assist with cleaning areas of the hospital as needed to ensure full coverage. Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices. Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital. Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment. Practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform. GED or high school diploma. Experience as a supervisor preferred. Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare). Physical Requirements Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift. Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift. Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants. Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
