What a Day Looks Like

At our Vicksburg, MS facility, you start by walking the floor—checking conveyors, listening for unusual vibrations, and scanning PLCs and VFD readouts. A teammate flags a motor that’s running hot; you diagnose the issue, swap components, and log the repair. Later, you tackle a hydraulic leak, review preventive maintenance records, and collaborate with peers to streamline a routine inspection route. Safety is your constant, documentation is second nature, and you’re ready to jump on urgent requests when they arise.

What You’ll Do

• Complete routine maintenance and corrective repairs on plant equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to root cause.
• Conduct scheduled inspections to keep equipment safe and reliable.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and parts used.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Partner with team members to improve processes and uptime.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience documented in your application work history OR graduation from an industrial maintenance training program (a combination of employers is acceptable as long as it totals 1 year).
• This facility accepts rehires only after 365 days, and having worked less than 3 times.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to present valid Identification.
• Comfort using basic hand tools.
• Foundational knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing.
• Able to read and understand work assignments.

Physical & Work Environment

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb stairs to 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Work in hot, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
