Come join us for an extraordinary career in a high growth, team-oriented company!Job Summary: As a Senior Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for managing processes for our warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving.Job Duties:Responsible for activities related to picking, packing, shipping, receiving and inventory of raw materials, fabricated parts, and equipmentMaintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipmentsResponsible for accurately posting transactions when moving productsPackage and label items correctly, safely, and in accordance with company policies and proceduresEnsure all cargo is loaded safely and in a manner that prevent damage in transitInspect product for defects or damage. Report damage or missing inventory to management teamWork with transportation providers locally to ensure timely execution of shipping schedulesVerify inventory counts and physical inventory as neededUse daily replenishment report to restock bins and maintain stocking plans, following general inventory management principalsOperate forklift, pallet jack or other equipment as neededComplete forklift inspections, monitor maintenance requirements, communicate issues in a timely manner to your supervisorOther general warehouse duties as assignedAssist with the organization and good housekeeping of the NCS facility (6S Practices)Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, local regulatory laws, and company safety policiesManagement retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any timeQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferredMRP System and scanner experience, preferredExperience with data entry and general use on computer systemsExtreme attention to detailAbility to safely operate various hand and power toolsAbility to interact well with customers, vendors, and fellow employeesAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to work assigned hours plus overtime as neededHandle occasional deliveriesPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift medium weight up to 50 lbs.May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulationsAbility to climb ladders safelyMay sit or stand for prolonged periods of timeCompensation $24 - $28/hour depending on qualifications.Grow your career supported by an energized and passionate team, professional development, training, flexibility and opportunities for advancement.
