Audiologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Audiologist to become a part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as a component of the VA's disability benefits assessment process. In this position, you will examine the Veteran's medical history, which is securely uploaded to a digital portal, prior to administering both the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Following these assessments, you will fill out a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, creating the necessary medical documentation for the VA to assess the Veteran’s eligibility for benefits.

• Perform in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and interpret electronic medical records through a secure online portal.
• Thoroughly document examination results and complete the required VA forms.

Note: This position does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices. The determination of disability is made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) , not by the provider.

• Schedule: Part-Time, 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday, 8 or 10-hour shifts)
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: Average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• A compassionate Audiologist who is passionate about assisting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when engaging with Veterans.

• Possession of an Au.D. and graduation from an ASHA Accredited Institution.
• Current licensure as an Audiologist.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record review and documentation.
