We are looking for dedicated and skilled bartenders to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join a truly service driven environment and contribute your passion about service. This position is meant for a bartender who is focused on hospitality and creating an exceptional dining experience, with an interest in creating handcrafted cocktails. Our bar is a seemingly endless library of spirits, hosted by a staff of passionate, hospitable and very talented individuals. The ideal candidate is as comfortable mixing cocktails as they are serving and explaining food and wine. • Greet guests, create an enjoyable lasting impression; manage guest requests, food orders, enter and deliver orders, accurately calculate tabs, operate the POS system and exchange money

• Prepare cocktails, pour wine and beer, in a consistent fashion to Shore Lodge specifications

• Anticipate guests' needs and provide appropriate service

• Deliver food and beverage orders accurately and timely

• Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers

• Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies, maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories

• Clean and organize the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to streamline processes and maintain a sanitary environment

• Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks and prepare and serve snacks, or other food items for customers

• Recognize potential intoxication, restrict alcohol intake and attempt to curtail inappropriate behavior

• Know Shore Lodge's history, McCall and the surrounding area well enough to help familiarize out of town guests with our local offerings

• Assist other team members as needed

· 6 months of bartending experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club preferred.

· Knowledge of liquors, their makeup, history, and flavor profile

· Able to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and team members

· Ability to multi-task while being highly organized and detail oriented

· Excellent customer service and cash handling skills

· Ability to carry on multiple conversations while mixing drinks, and effective use of a POS system

· Lifting supplies or equipment of thirty (30) pounds or more, frequent periods of pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and upward reaching and prolonged periods of standing and walking

· Functional knowledge of food techniques for preparation

· A sense of maturity and leadership
