Job Overview To manage and lead overall plant operations ensuring the achievement of plant targets for Safety, Quality, Service and Cost. This will be executed through providing strong leadership to the plant team and managing the systems, equipment, people and materials according to the established policies, procedures, specifications, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Leads and drives plant safety culture and prioritizes safety in all responsibilities. Identifies opportunities and problem areas for targeted improvement by creating, reviewing and monitoring data or reports that show performance to KPIs (e.g., safety, quality, waste, productivity). Oversees all aspects of human capital planning & management for the facility, including goal setting, improvement targets for KPIs, salary planning and performance management. Attracts, hires, develops direct reports and creates strong succession plans. Ensures compliance with department safety, product safety, fire protection, company policies/procedures and housekeeping programs. Manages process control initiatives by ensuring manufacturing SOPs exist and are sufficient for quality, safety and process control. Leads plant budgeting processes and ensures execution of plant capital expenditures. Drives employee engagement action planning and communicates business needs and results to all plant associates. Leads effort at best practice sharing with other facilities. Meets safety targets and drives a culture to send every employee home every day without injury. Meets or exceeds plant business plan and KPIs. Delivers on the established budget. Leads effective, cost‑efficient planning and utilization of manpower, materials and machinery. Develops and maintains a high‑performance culture across the plant. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or related field. 10+ years of relevant experience in a production environment. Demonstrated passion for safety. 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in flexible packaging. Strong financial acumen and results orientation. Excellent team leadership, development and collaboration skills. Strategic orientation and enterprise thinking. Change and facilitation leadership. Strong human capital planning, development and management capability. Customer service mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of BNA customers and plant capabilities. Understanding of drivers of plant results, including financial interpretation. Continuous improvement knowledge; Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred. Benefits Medical, dental and vision plans.
