Sustainment Lead

Role Description

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Sustainment Lead to support Kadiak and our government customer. This position is remote.

The Sustainment Lead will serve as a senior operational and sustainment leader responsible for enterprise-wide coordination, governance, and operational oversight of Electronic Health Record (EHR) sustainment activities within a complex federal healthcare environment. This role supports ongoing enterprise operations through oversight of:

• Enterprise Resolution and Incident Response
• Domain and Release Management
• Tenant Panel Management functions

The Sustainment Lead will be responsible for overall operational ownership and management of sustainment initiatives, focusing on:

• Enterprise stability
• Operational continuity
• Clinical safety
• Release coordination
• Issue resolution
• Stakeholder engagement across healthcare operations and IT organizations

This position requires a proactive and solutions-oriented leader capable of managing complex enterprise-wide incidents, sustainment operations, governance activities, release schedules, and local site coordination while ensuring alignment with federal healthcare objectives and patient safety standards.

The individual will apply advanced project management, operational leadership, and healthcare IT expertise to ensure:

• Workflows, incidents, risks, communications, releases, configurations, and operational priorities are effectively managed across the sustainment lifecycle
• Collaboration across clinical, operational, technical, vendor, and executive stakeholder groups to support enterprise-wide EHR functionality, optimization, stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
• Minimum 5 years of Federal Government experience
• 7–10+ years of experience supporting EHR operations, sustainment, healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or healthcare systems implementation within large-scale healthcare environments
• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-wide healthcare IT operations, incident response, release management, sustainment activities, and operational governance
• Proven experience working within government healthcare or federal contracting environments
• Experience supporting enterprise EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or equivalent healthcare systems experience with data analytics and reporting tools including Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and enterprise reporting platforms
• Knowledge of ITIL-aligned service management frameworks, incident management processes, and operational governance methodologies
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher government clearance

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
• 7–10 years of hospital, clinic, or healthcare operational experience (preferred)
• PMP, ITIL, SAFe Agile, or equivalent certifications (preferred)
• Experience presenting to executive leadership, governance boards, and large stakeholder groups (preferred)
