Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT(N) or CNMT certification for a hospital radiology department on a day shift schedule.

Details

• Radiology/Nuclear Medicine department setting
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No weekends, on-call, or call-back required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required
• NJ State License required for Nuclear Medicine (license required if applicable)
• BS in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved RT and Nuclear Medicine program required
• CPR certification required
• Experience in General Nuclear Medicine preferred, including bone scan, hepatobiliary scan, lung scan, and thyroid scan

Additional Information

• Prepares patients for examinations and radiopharmaceutical administration
• Monitors patient condition throughout procedures
• Monitors equipment operation and scanning setup
• May float to a nearby sister hospital
• Accepts local candidates at a reduced rate
