Position: DevSecOps Engineer Location: Colorado Springs, CORemote Status: On-Site Job Id: 13841-WGS - Chase # of Openings: 1 Auria is looking to hire a DevSecOps Engineer to support the development of the Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS) Global SATCOM Satellite Configuration Control Element (GSCCE). This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will perform DevSecOps tasks that design and implement solutions to build, test, and deploy containerized microservices in a fast-paced environment for providing an automated deployment and testing solution for a cloud-built and on-premises deployed software factory.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:Responsible for developing and enhancing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations in multiple cloud service environmentsSupport software quality efforts associated with product deliveries, conduct ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps toolchain, and implement upgrades to the software factory as neededConduct automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and methods Recommend and implement upgrades and modifications to DevSecOps workflows and tools/productsOccasional CONUS and OCONUS travel to support on-site GSCCE installationsWHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world. Engineer Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years relevant experience or master's degree and 4 or more years relevant experience Engineer Level 4: Bachelor's degree and 12 or more years of experience or master's degree with 9 or more years of experience.Strong programming skills in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and AzureCLIExperience using GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, and JenkinsExperience using AWS cloud and GCC HighExperience with planning or supporting planning missions over a SATCOM constellationExperience with Spacecraft configuration and SATCOM resource allocationExperience using application security concepts and vulnerability remediation techniquesExperience working within an agile system development framework, conducting engineering tasks for a complex systemExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage numerous demonstration events at the same timeActive US Secret security clearanceExcellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as within a teamProficiency with M.S. Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:Experience with software development, test automation, and system automation that supports the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and Security as Code (SaC)Expertise with a modern software factory's CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies.
