Respiratory Therapist – RRT / CRT – Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD Overview Join Sinai Hospital's Respiratory Care Services team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and work at the largest community hospital in Maryland. Sinai is a Level II Trauma Center and academic medical center within the LifeBridge Health system. Responsibilities Administer therapeutic gases, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, and the full range of respiratory treatments Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertions, mini‑BALs, chest physiotherapy, and CPR Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and adjust therapy based on clinical response Respond to rapid response and code events across ICU, Emergency Department, NICU, PICU, and inpatient units Collaborate with pulmonologists, intensivists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the medical record Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor’s preferred Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care required within 1 year of hire 1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) working toward RRT credentialing will be considered Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team‑first approach to patient care Benefits Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus Tuition reimbursement toward advanced degrees and specialty certifications Free on‑site parking Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after hire 403(b) retirement plan with employer match and pension Generous paid time off, short‑ and long‑term disability, and life insurance Employee wellness programs, mental health support, and fitness discounts Structured preceptor program for new graduates and clinical ladder for experienced RTs Specialty credentialing support for certifications in ECMO, adult critical care, neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, and pulmonary function testing Shift Flexibility Day shift and night shift openings are available, allowing you to choose a schedule that fits your life.
