Production Supervisor - Plasma Thermal Spray (3rd Shift, Mon-Fri)

JOB SUMMARY The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the assigned departments and will lead their production team to meet customer goals. The role ensures that scheduled work is executed safely and systematically so qualified technicians can perform tasks efficiently while monitoring completion and maintaining quality standards. Through this role, the Production Supervisor applies extensive knowledge in manufacturing and repair of turbine engine components, collaborating with other supervisors via established communication channels. The position operates in a climate controlled and modern manufacturing environment and reports directly to the Production Department Manager. COMPANY OVERVIEW Component Repair Technologies, Inc. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follow established safety protocols and company policies. Oversee team health and safety in accordance with company standards. Monitor assigned work and review completed jobs to ensure scope adherence. Utilize software to assign, verify, track, and monitor metrics and job assignments. Motivate, coach, and counsel team members to achieve results. Manage personnel hours, scheduled time off, shift schedules, and overtime to meet customer requirements. Conduct performance reviews, employee development, and disciplinary actions as needed. Collaborate with trainers and department managers to improve employee development and processes. Hold regular department meetings, including monthly and ad‑hoc discussions, communicating changes promptly. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or aviation maintenance environment. Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, including technical drawings and scope instructions. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or aviation maintenance. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate; higher education preferred. Fluency in English (read, write, speak). Basic computer literacy and standard software proficiency. Ability to apply basic shop math and use measuring devices. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment. WORK ENVIRONMENT Pre‑employment testing may be required, including fitness for duty and vision exam. Follow general shop safety procedures, including use of safety glasses, toe shoes, and hearing protection. Stand and/or sit during portions of the shift.
