As a Lift Operations Supervisor , you're the person making sure the team hits that mark. From the first chair of the morning to the last rider off the hill, you're out there supporting your team, keeping operations running smoothly, and making sure every guest experience on the hill meets the Boyne Mountain standard. Responsibilities Long-Term Thinking - Assist with scheduling and daily administrative tasks with an eye toward keeping operations efficient, well-staffed, and prepared for whatever the mountain (or the weather) brings. Excellence in Execution - Perform regular inspections of lifts and scanning operations throughout the day, ensure all daily operational documentation is completed accurately, and hold the team to brand standards that meet or exceed guest expectations on every run. Attitude is Everything - Winter operations in Michigan demand composure, adaptability, and a genuine love for the outdoors. You approach every shift with steady, positive energy that keeps your team grounded and your guests confident. Develop Great People - Provide timely, thoughtful guidance to lift operations team members in support of safety, guest service, and professional growth. Your experience and presence on the hill make the whole team better. Serve First - Actively monitor and support daily lift operations, responding quickly to various locations across the mountain during high-volume periods or emergencies to ensure guests and team members are supported. Perform other duties as assigned by the Mountain Experience leadership team. Qualifications You have a high school diploma and previous supervisory experience in hospitality, outdoor recreation, or a related field — experience in ski industry mountain operations is a strong plus. You can ski or ride at an intermediate level or higher. You're friendly, personable, and empathetic. You lead with people in mind, whether that's a team member who needs guidance or a guest who needs help. You have a solid knowledge of Boyne Mountain Resort and its offerings (preferred), and a genuine passion for winter sports and the outdoors. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook. You're detail-oriented, organized, and able to quickly prioritize tasks and adapt when the plan changes.
