ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician for a large manufacturing facility - a great fit for a hands-on IT/OT professional ready to grow their career in industrial technology support.
• Serve as the sole on-site IT resource for a mill with 300+ endpoints, backed by a large enterprise IT organization
• Field and resolve end-user help requests via ServiceNow, documenting each issue through to resolution
• Deploy and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, switches, wireless APs, VoIP, and Internet circuits
• Support OT/process control systems, digital signage, access control, cameras, and specialty production floor equipment
• Apply server patches and updates (physical and virtual) per organizational change management guidelines
• Lead computer refresh and infrastructure upgrade projects across production floor and business offices
• Follow all site safety protocols including PPE and steel-toed footwear in an active mill environment
• Track IT/OT assets at the mill site and participate in team meetings

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate's degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years administering PCs, servers, and printers with broad-based infrastructure skills
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including production floor support
• Familiarity with OT/process control or industrial automation systems
• Proficiency supporting switches, wireless APs, VoIP, VPN, and general network infrastructure
• Safety-first mindset; strong verbal and written communication skills

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
• Microsoft, Google, Cisco, ITIL, or similar industry certifications
• Experience as a Process Control Technician or Engineer
• Four-year degree in Information Technology or a related field
