We are now hiring a Packaging Associate in Santa Fe Springs, CA.Compensation:Competitive starting pay rate of $18.18 per hour, paid weeklyPay: Competitive starting pay rate based on experience and qualificationsBonuses: Eligible for a monthly bonus based on plant productivityAdd extra money to your paycheck by referring friends and familyAvailable Shifts:1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm3rd Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:30 amRotation schedule (rotating days off)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for handling and packaging products and monitoring the quality of the productManufacturing/production/warehouse experience desiredPrevious packaging experience a plusPrevious experience working on a production floor is a plusQualifications:Education/Experience: Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 3 months of related training or experienceMathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract 4-digit numbersMechanical Skills: Basic knowledge of machinery or process required. May be required to stop the machine, shut off glue lines, and clear jammed cartonsCommunication Skills: Must be able to read, write & understand basic English. Able to communicate effectively, positively interact with coworkers and management, and deal effectively & professionally under pressureReasoning Ability: The job requires the use of established guidelines that are well defined or detailed with little or no choice of action.
