RN - ICU

Registered Nurse - SCU/IMC

Location: Damariscotta, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shifts available: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Job Description: The SCU is not an ICU with ventilated patients. We rarely run infusions. An experienced telemetry nurse will be capable of fulfilling this role. This intermediate community access hospital cares for telemetry, medical-surgical, and critical care patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for SCU, IMC, medical-surgical, and swing patients.
• Monitor telemetry and perform necessary interventions.
• Administer vasoactive drips when needed.
• Occasional floating to medical-surgical environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 5 years of nursing experience required.
• RN License in the state of practice.
• Experience with telemetry, medical-surgical, or critical care nursing preferred.

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs are required. Unacceptable attire includes clothing not suited for the professional healthcare setting.
