Keep the Burgers Moving.*Bobby’s Burgers at Mohegan Sun is looking for a Restaurant Shift Manager who can help keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the guest experience unforgettable. In this role, you’ll support the Food and Beverage Operations Manager with daily restaurant operations while helping lead a fast-paced, guest-focused team.*What You’ll Do:*· Partner with the Food and Beverage Operations Manager to meet financial goals and keep the restaurant running strong.· Help hire, train, coach, schedule, and support supervisors and line staff.· Keep an eye on product quality, inventory levels, and supplies so the team is always ready for the rush.· Assist with payroll preparation and day-to-day administrative needs.*More Ways You’ll Make an Impact:*· Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment that meets health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.· Help promote the Bobby’s Burgers concept through marketing and public relations efforts.· Build a strong working relationship with the tenant partner and play an active role in supporting the restaurant’s success.*What We’re Looking For:*· Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Business Administration preferred.· Three years of experience in a high-volume, complex Food and Beverage or casino environment, including at least one year of supervisory experience in a gourmet or specialty restaurant.· In lieu of a formal degree, two years of supervisory experience in a high-volume or gourmet-themed restaurant is required.*Skills That Help You Shine:*· Intermediate knowledge of Micros, Stratton Warren, Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.*Training and Know-How:*· Must complete and pass the Core Supervisor Training course.· Strong understanding of beverage service techniques, food preparation, product knowledge, cooking techniques, and tableside service.· Comfortable working with P&L evaluation, sales forecasting, budget costs, utilization, and Key Volume Indicator analysis.*The Work Environment:*· This is an active, fast-paced restaurant and kitchen environment where no two shifts are exactly the same.· Must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and lifting.· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.· Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.· Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for short periods of time.._*Mohegan Sun practices Native American Preference in hiring.
